Courses on offer – 9 and 11 July 2019

Local ecologist Deborah Sazer, who many CMG members will know, has offered to run two courses both at the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales reserve at Carmel:

  1. A one-day course on butterflies. This will be a session out on the reserve and an indoor session in Carmel village hall (just next to the reserve). £20 to CMG members and £25 to non-members.
  2. A one-day course on identifying grasses, sedges and rushes on 9 July 2019. This will also be a session out on the reserve and an indoor session in Carmel village hall. As this is a more specialised course and likely to attract fewer participants, the cost will have to be a bit higher: £25 for the day if you are a CMG member, and £30 if you’re not.  We need to get an idea in advance of how many people would like to attend, and unless enough people book a place, we can’t afford to run the course.  So, if you are interested please contact Deborah to confirm.

Please book by contacting Deborah, either by email: ecoleg.sazer@gmail.com, or via Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/wildgower/ .

There may be another course in the pipeline about plants found on Rhos pasture.  Keep watching the website for further news.
