A DIY hand baler? Here is a useful design…..

For those with a small amount of meadow, getting in equipment to cut and bale may be a completely disproportionate exercise but what if you want to cut some other way – and would like to bale what you cut? A low tech option may appeal….

An article was recently published on the “Caring for God’s Acre” website by John Langran. The organisation is concerned with the management of Churchyard’s and Burial Sites. John’s article gives a clear description of how to build a hand baler – with plenty of pictures for practical guidance.
