The East Carmarthenshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is holding its next talk on 8 November. It should be of great interest to CMG members. It will be given by Richard Pryce, who with Kath Pryce is joint Plant Recorder for Carmarthenshire. As the recent BSBI Atlas launch, and the State of Nature report have shown, there have been unprecedented changes in distribution and population size of plant (and other) species in recent decades. Richard’s talk will describe the changes he has observed over the last 40 years of recording plants in the county, and there is nobody better placed to know what has happened, and is happening now. I hope you’ll not miss this opportunity to hear about the changes Richard has observed during this time.
The talk will be at 7.30pm Wednesday 8 November – Capel Newydd Vestry Hall, Crescent Road, Llandeilo SA19 6HN – it’s opposite the big car park in Crescent Road, where parking is free after 6pm.
