This is the message that we have recieved:
“Plantlife along with Bannau Brycheiniog National Park are facilitating a discussion on the creation of a new meadows group in Bannau Brycheiniog, and we wanted to extend this invitation to any of your Carmarthenshire meadows group members! This discussion will be taking place at the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Visitor Centre on Saturday 15th February from 10am, and we will have guest speakers from other local meadows groups in Wales.
The hope for this event is to bring together any interested parties, whether they may own or manage meadows within Brecon Beacons, or even those who would be interested in finding out more about meadows, and how they might get involved with establishing a new meadows group. This event will be free to anyone who would like to attend, and there will be free refreshments! For your information, there is a small charge to use the carpark, which costs £2 for 2-4 hours.
There is no limit on numbers, the more the merrier! However, we would be grateful if you could register your interest by emailing michelle.richards@plantlife.org.uk so that we can make sure we have plenty of cups ready for you. We plan to finish around lunchtime, and there is an on-site café if anyone would like to carry on chatting or perhaps grab a spot of lunch at Caffi Y Fan!
So, do you own or manage a meadow? Or would you like to find out more about meadows? Then please come and join us for an informal chat to find out more. What better way to spend a Saturday morning than in the picturesque Bannau Brycheiniog park!”
