I guess many of our meadows are just past their peak of interest.
The first ever National Meadows day took place in 2015, designed to promote awareness of wildflower meadows.
Wednesday June 29th saw a group of hardy meadow enthusiasts gather at Newton House for a "summer social", kindly organised by Isabel Macho, and Helen Bradley of Plantlife.

After a very wet mild winter, and later start to spring, at last our upland meadows seem to be growing well.
